Where we are, how we got there

March 10, 2008

I’m past sixty, laughing at myself, enjoying family, and anything else I choose to enjoy.  Moving beyond wanting, identifying needing.  Still trying to give back, still outraged at our nation’s lack of awareness . . . but I believe!

Over the next few months, I’ll tell you all about the Elevator 9, a group of pro-peace folks who made the criminal mistake of attempting to speak to their Senator about signing the Declaration of Peace.  They were found guilty of loitering in an elevator in a manner that disrupted the conduct of business in the Federal Building in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  Until I have time to lay out this entire tale — and their ultimate sentences — I’d direct you to the following site for extraordinary commentary on where we are and how we got there.  http://www.FireDogLake.com
