The Central New Mexico Corgi Club had its annual meeting, picnic and CorgiAid auction today. There were twenty corgis running around at any one time — four cardis and a bunch of pems. Chase ran for three hours. He dashed through mud, up the terracing at our hostess’s home, around tables, splashed across the water pan, and in general made a complete fool of himself. . . . but Kip and Inca, now those are smart dogs! They found a teenage girl (pretty Marla) who was completely taken with them.
The auction raised enough that we should be able to send CorgiAid at least five hundred dollars. Always a pleasure to help with the important work of rescuing short-legged dogs.
Smart dogs, those Kip and Inca dogs! 🙂 But hey, it sounds like Chaser had fun!!! 🙂 I should see if there’s any way to get Orion’s family involved in some of the NM festivities…. they live in Albq, and he would LOVE to pay with Chase 🙂 Congrats on the fundraiser for CorgiAid!!! Sounds like it was a great success!! 🙂
Someday I WILL have a corgi 🙂
I don’t know if you have ever read Dooce’s Blog, but
I highly recommend it 🙂
I’m not very articulate, but she manages to say things I can’t. 🙂
If you like the 2 posts I linked to you may like her’s as well 🙂

We LOVE dogs, but they deserve a yard to run around in. So when we are done
with apartment living we will have one (or 3)
I tried to reply back to your email but it HATES me 🙂
Can you send me more info on the Central New Mexico Corgi Club? I can’t find anything on the web about it. Do you have a contact?
Thanks,
Nikki
