This morning (very early so we might catch the light from the east), we went down to the Bosque. The plan was to get photos of all the dogs — my friend Thad took a lot of shots! He’ll give me a CD so I can slowly go through all the pictures and select those to print. Although Chase was generally uncooperative, I liked the expression in this photo. You know, he’s a brat!

He is an amazing man who is taking on what would be an intolerable burden EXCEPT that there are millions of us to help shoulder the load. There is no question that our country will suffer more before it again rises, but it will rise only if we believe. If we lose hope and do not individually invest in the promise, this Country will flounder. This new administration is nothing more than a symbol of individual and personal commitment by each of us.

I am past sixty-five and still practicing law. I have two terrific sons, they have lovely wives, and I have one truly special granddaughter. At home are three Cardigan Welsh Corgis that amuse and challenge me. We participate in lots of dog-related activities. I love my camera, writing, and roaming.
