Today there was another OFA envelope in my Post Office Box. This one is a certificate declaring that Chase has normal thyroid function. I know that thyroid problems usually show up when a dog is older, but it’s my theory that if his thyroid is not normal at 13 months, it will certainly be abnormal later. Now we’re just waiting for PennHip results.

End of the Season

These little guys were huddled near our parking area at work. I have no idea why they aren’t brown and dry like all the other plants. They’re just weeds, but in late November, they are transformed into flowers.
