Today there was another OFA envelope in my Post Office Box. This one is a certificate declaring that Chase has normal thyroid function. I know that thyroid problems usually show up when a dog is older, but it’s my theory that if his thyroid is not normal at 13 months, it will certainly be abnormal later. Now we’re just waiting for PennHip results.

I am past sixty-five and still practicing law. I have two terrific sons, they have lovely wives, and I have one truly special granddaughter. At home are three Cardigan Welsh Corgis that amuse and challenge me. We participate in lots of dog-related activities. I love my camera, writing, and roaming. I had my girls thyroid tested as well, both came back normal! Wohoo!
I need to get the address for the DM test, I’d like to do the girls too since I’m testing for everything else!
