We have a new President and it’s the man I supported. So, now I have accepted a burden. I must make his presidency successful. I must help heal the rift, cure the economy, develop resources so we are no longer dependent on (and subject to the abuse by) others. I must seek peace both outside our borders and within myself. I have tasks: I welcome them, I will share them, and together we will complete them.

I am past sixty-five and still practicing law. I have two terrific sons, they have lovely wives, and I have one truly special granddaughter. At home are three Cardigan Welsh Corgis that amuse and challenge me. We participate in lots of dog-related activities. I love my camera, writing, and roaming. I agree Penni…. the burden is not just Obama’s but our own… I just hope McCains supporters can get behind Obama and try and make a difference as well. 🙂 I’m overjoyed, and can rest easy tonight knowing that MY President will soon be taking office! 🙂
