When I posted the photos of the blue Elements parked at my home, several people (on the blog and off) asked about the “front door”. It’s actually a steel gate and was a birthday present to me from my son Marc and daughter in law Debi. They did an advertising trade-out with Damon Chefchis, who is the artisan behind this practical piece of art. (Damon’s very large art work is also located at the crossing of the I-25/I-40 frontage roads, and on the railings along main arteries where they cross over I-40.) I had great fun designing the gate. Most important (to my home anyway) is that I can see out of the top third and there are flowers cut out at Cardigan eye height at the bottom so the dogs can also watch the neighborhood comings and goings. I think it’s very pretty! Thank you for asking.
I love it!
