Chase Report From Canada

April 26, 2009

As many of you know, Chase went to Canada with Shelley and crew.  I received an email asking if I knew he loved to gallop through the mud.  Hmmm.  I hadn’t thought much about it because we have so little rain or snow here in the high desert.  But, upon reflection, yes.  If there’s a puddle, he will stomp through it — sort of like a toddler.

So, here are a couple of the first photos from Shelley’s house — look at the feet (and do not tell Sherri).

  1. Le'o says:

Mine, Pan in particular, will make their own mud. Dumps over the water bowl and splash, splash, splash. When I finally get new flooring it will all be mud colored matte tile. sigh.

  2. Shelley says:

The property slopes downwards away from the house, and behind the back fence is a swamp. When it melts the lower part of the yards stays wet for a while, and that is where Chase can always be found!

  3. C-Myste says:

He’s making up for lost mud. Sometimes Chase misses good ol’ Orygun where he started out.
    😉

  4. Sarah says:

Hmm, perhaps there was some information exchange at the specialty. I’m thinking Syd might have told Chase about the joys of slopping in mud, and perhaps he shared with her his steps for successful cell phone destruction. Oh dear, what else did they talk about???

  5. Shelley says:

You don’t want to see the pictures I took today. Chase, Ember and Libby all rolling and playing in the mud. OMG what a mess!!

  6. Dawn says:

Maybe he just doesnt want to be a Fancy Dog? Even with messy feet, he is still a lovely boy.

  7. Sandy says:

Oh my gosh………he’s a BOY dog, ya know. A real mess is when the belly looks like the feet. Gotta love the smile on his face though…knowing his mom is gonna see the pic!
