The OFA envelope came today with the DM test kits for Kip and Inca. So they both opened wide and we soaked the swabs and squeezed them onto the test circles. They’ll go out in the mail tomorrow — fingers crossed that neither dog is “At Risk”. I don’t care if they are carriers — I just want my furry bedmates to live long and prosper!
Paws crossed. I just got my tax refund and ordered Bug’s test the other night.
Thinking positive thoughts for Kip and Inca.
Good luck you two crazy stub-dogs!
Deep breath.
I’m doing Pilot’s and Hux’s tests tomorrow morning.
I’m wondering if all the folks at the U. of Missouri are wondering why so many Cardi tests are being done right now–Riley’s is at the lab right now and Zoey’s and Rugby’s will be sent off tomorrow!
I think the blogging community that has grown so much over the past 18 months or so has a lot to do with sharing information and discussing it. We also must realize that the test is quite recent. Chase was one of the 1st fifteen dogs tested — and that was in mid-to-late September. Had CWCCA participated in the research phase, we would have been far deeper into the program by now.
