Last night was the Megan competition — it’s a Champions-only match. Chase did not do anything in his class. Today, however, he competed in the 15 to 18 month old puppy dog Sweepstakes class. He was awarded a second place and his litter brother Pilot finished third. The boys looked great. Then their mom, Alice, and their dad, Hunter, each won their Veteran Sweepstakes class. Hunter turned 13 last month, but when he got in the ring, he became a young guy again — so much fun to watch our older dogs perform once again.
Tomorrow Chase will follow his mom and dad around in the Stud dog and Brood Bitch classes. He doesn’t actually compete for himself again until Best of Breed competition on Saturday. His littermates (Molly, Libby and Pilot) will see action tomorrow and Friday. His mom and dad will compete in regular veterans classes tomorrow.
It’s really late and I’m dog tired — more tomorrow!
Congrats on the placement! Good luck!
Way to go Pilot and Chase!
And Fig says, “Yea, Grandma Alice! I’ll make sure to jump up on lots of things today…just for you, Chase and Pilot!”
Good luck.
2nd place in that group is wonderful. Yeah for you and Chase.
Woo-hooo…………just saw the results on the CWCCA site. Chase’s name “up in lights”! Good dog!
Now, continue to have fun and report back to all of us “normal” people, OK?
