A couple of weeks ago, my 7 year old granddaughter was in a play. As we left the theatre, we were greeted with this sunset over downtown Albuquerque. I shot it with my phone (no cameras had been allowed in the theatre). I love the soft, elegant colors washed across the sky. Enjoy this one, and to see many other wonderful skies, visit SkyWatch.

The last photo I posted of Chase with the dumbbell was from early on in his training. We’ve been practicing for some time now (well, a couple of months since he came back from Canada), and I’m getting a little enthusiasm for some of the more distasteful aspects of learning obedience. Look — we have ears! I know they aren’t in their full, upright, and locked position, but — they aren’t pinned against his head.
Part of the reason he cooperates is that he gets treats when he holds the dumbbell until I say “out”, and part is that he is permitted to lounge in the client chair — since we have no visitors at the office today.
Such a good boy!

I am past sixty-five and still practicing law. I have two terrific sons, they have lovely wives, and I have one truly special granddaughter. At home are three Cardigan Welsh Corgis that amuse and challenge me. We participate in lots of dog-related activities. I love my camera, writing, and roaming.
