Phoebe has selected under-the-daybed as her location of choice. She is NOT having puppies there, but if she wants to watch me from that spot while I work on the computer, it’s fine with me. The pink bedskirt clashes with her orange ears, but the fashion police are off on Sundays. Her progress up and down stairs worries me. She is already bumping the stairs with her tummy, but she wants to be where I am (and where her daybed is located). Chase is now leaving her alone so all three dogs are comfortably sprawled in my spare room/home office. Chase is exhausted after all day at the Match. He did a wonderful Rally routine — I was really proud of his attention. He did not sniff the horse arena packed dirt floor either which had been my biggest concern. Good job Chase-man. Hopefully it will carry over to the trials next weekend.

There’s our phretty Phreebe…so she’s acting basically normal?
“This is the maternity ward, right?”
She is beautiful. There should be some good looking buns in her oven.
Great to know that Phoebe did make it safe & sound. She is truly a good girl, spent some time with her in St Louis, and I recognize that look as the “I’m not really that happy” look. But she will be coming out of it in a couple of days.
Tell her that Alvin is rooting for lots of girls also, just because at this time that is the right thing to do! I keep telling him we are getting a little boy for him to play with, but I know he won’t beleive/know it until we get to Eugene next weekend. His ego & nose may get a bit bent out of shape….yet when home he will enjoy having a boy to play with !
I have a feeling there will be a red girl in this litter!!
Oh poor Phoebe, uprooted from home, new place, big fat tummy and Chase to deal with. I bet she is a little confused. I am sure though she will settle in in a day or so. SUch a sad face in the picture though. She is so pretty, I just can’t wait to see the babies.
What a pretty girl you are Phoebe. Take the stairs carefully. Your sub-Mom may have to decide what level of the house she, and you, are going to live in the next few weeks.
