Sox in Box

Today when I went to the Post Office to pick up my mail, there was a manilla envelope from C-Myste. I took my prize out to the car (where Chase was patiently sitting on the front seat). I began to open the envelope and Chase climbed in my lap. His nose was against the envelope. As I lifted the flap, he thrust his nose into the envelope — and I pulled it away. Wow! Look! New Mexico-colored socks, hand made in Orygun. Chase sez, “it smells like home.”

Thank you, Carolyn. Since we haven’t made it to 70 degrees yesterday or today, these will come in handy right now. Go away, Chase. Mine!

Anyone want to start taking bets on how long before Chase gets his paws on one and redecorates it?

Looks like Carolyn is a fiber person —- and a good one! Lucky you! Keep them away from Chase!!

Chase must ask his G-Ma Carolyn for his own socks. He does have a leg warmer on his left front — does that count? I’ll wash these tonight because I think they smell like his mom and his sister and his [stoopid] brother.

Oh how pretty. Love the color, but I do think they will look better on Penni, and Chase should leave it!

  5. My wife wandered in, looked at the picture, and said: “Are those your socks? Did Nana make them for you?” Because I love orange, and Nana always used to knit stuff for me!

oooooo….pretty, pretty. Now wouldn’t Chase need two more for a complete set? OH! They’re for Penni. Got it.

Wow they’re very bright, you just have to keep doggy teeth off them now
