Watson is out! On the perimeter, they are surrounded by an x-pen, but defeating the Whelping Pool was the Holy Grail. I suppose defeating the x-pen and tearing up magazines is next. The new box will be ready tonight so I’ll be reconfiguring the space for our babies. The new box is made of PVC sheets and pipes. It weighs about half as much as a wood box of the same size and can be completely disinfected, wiped down, etc. It breaks down flat for storage. My friend John, who is making this gem, is Grayfoot Agility. He builds all the agility obstacles for our Obedience/Agility/Tracking/Rally club, as well as for individuals. He’s always willing to try a new concept. Once we have tested this prototype and made refinements, he may be making the whelping box with attached potty room available.

And…….what could be much more fun than tearing up magazines. I think dogs are hard wired for that activity. Those little guys keep getting cuter and cuter.
I’ll try to find some old copies of “Field Trial” Magazine for them to shred. Might as well have them shredding the “right stuff.”
