What is Holmes going to do without his brother to pile up with at night? We’ll have to make some adjustments. Holmes demonstrated earlier today, while Watson and I were at the Vet’s, that he can break out of the pen. I’ll bet there will be more complications when Watson has gone home with Alden. Poor little Holmes!
Here’s a hint — Watson is on top
Is it possible his Daddy helped with the jail break? I can just see Chase breaking him out for a bit of playtime. That is a really sweet picture of the boys.
Maybe you should just find Holmes another playmate about the same age. That might be fun, huh?
Did I mention that at 8 weeks I have them start eating separately and sleeping alone in crates?
But then, I don’t have close neighbors 😉
Isn’t this where Dad kicks in and stays with his son to keep him company? Hmmmm? Is Holmes going to a home soon, or staying in the one he’s in? Just curious….;-)
Echoing Sandy’s question…isn’t it time for Holmes to have a new home of his own…or does he already have one?
Holmes IS home — at least for several months. He is a very nice boy I think, so Carolyn and I are going to co-own him and watch how he grows. What appears in the repeat will help us decide what to do about him. In the meantime, he’ll come to the office, take puppy kindergarten, go to conformation drills, and hang out with his Dad. We have a 4-day cluster of all breed shows over Mothers Day weekend. If Holmes is still looking like I think he will be, I’ll enter and show him there. It is always a major. Hopefully Chase will be ready to show for his CD that same weekend. I love (the rare) neighborhood shows.
Penni, you’d better double check the Sherpa bag when I leave…there might be two puppies in it.
Nice. I had a feeling that Holmes would be staying around. Chase will be thrilled!
