Alden and I had a great dinner while we watched the sun set over the Rio Grande Valley. I’m not going to attach superlatives — you may see for yourselves.

I am past sixty-five and still practicing law. I have two terrific sons, they have lovely wives, and I have one truly special granddaughter. At home are three Cardigan Welsh Corgis that amuse and challenge me. We participate in lots of dog-related activities. I love my camera, writing, and roaming. During the conversation at our (annual managers’) dinner last night was what a nice city/area Albuquerque is and how several of us could live there. Ray’s wife Debby and niece Wendy ended up being there for the balloon festival this year – accidentally! That is . . . through ABQ on purpose but they didn’t know about the balloon festival.
