This afternoon the UNM ladies basketball team played downstate rival New Mexico State University. Of course I was in the stands. My son Brock and his wife joined me. During half-time one of our mascots (Lucy Lobo) sat in front of us and Brock gave her a shoulder massage. The grateful Lucy then posed for a shot with him — taken with Angela’s cell phone. By the way, our ladies won again. 8500+ screaming fans can’t be wrong!

The cards have been mailed, the stocking stuffers and family children’s gifts are gathered (though not wrapped). So all that is left to do is to wish everyone in my internet world the very happiest of holidays and a successful 2010.

I am past sixty-five and still practicing law. I have two terrific sons, they have lovely wives, and I have one truly special granddaughter. At home are three Cardigan Welsh Corgis that amuse and challenge me. We participate in lots of dog-related activities. I love my camera, writing, and roaming.
