. . . so it’s time for some stacked photos and video. Holmes tries so hard to please (when he’s not with his dad learning to be a baddog). We were fighting the late afternoon winter sun, but some of these photos are pretty representative of what I see every day in this little guy. The videos — well, Brock was a bit far away and the sun is even more of a problem because I can’t change the shadows. I’ll look at the footage again and see if any of it is fit for human consumption.
First, just for fun, here is a photo of Chase at 11-1/2 weeks.
Now, here is “C-Myste The Game’s Afoot at Elyan” (a/k/a Holmes) at twelve weeks old.
A bit overstretched, but trying to do what I ask
I wanted you to see his cute face
And the video — a few splendid steps in this
I think he gets to stay a while longer.
I see a lot of his mom in him now.
Fortunately his Dad contributed as well — some of his happy working temperament along with great presence. It seems like a lovely combination. Now if we can just get a girl (or three) that look(s) like Holmes!
I think that Holmes really is a combination of the best of both mom and dad. He definitely got his low-stationed stature and sweeping croup and tailset from mom. And his freckles, too.
. . . and I love the freckles. I’ve not had a Cardi with an abundance. He has them on his little fat feet and sprinkled across his nose — they just add to his adorableness.
He has got such a cute face — I just want to snorgle those ears!
I really like him this week! I wish puppies came with a crystal ball.
By the way, excellent comment on showcardi. It’s kind of hard to believe that somebody who shows dogs wrote that down.
OK, I LOOOOVE him right now. Send him to Oregon, QUICK! 😉
I hope he looks like THIS as an adult. Very nice 🙂 I can’t wait for round 2!
