A Puppy Milestone

Holmes has been trying to jump into the club chair in the living room — perhaps since he was born.  Until today all he succeeded in doing was slamming the chair back until it was up against the fireplace hearth and would go no further.  That was actually a really fun game.  Tonight, however, he surprised us all.  There was a running start, a take-off, and . . . he landed in the chair.  Holmes was king of the mountain!  He could look down on Chase and say (in dog talk, of course) “This is my chair!”

    I can’t get over how much darker Holmes is than Watson. I think Watson’s turning into a California blond.

      We wouldn’t know about Watson’s color because there have been no posts in a while 🙂
