Inca - Pretty in a pot 3-5-2010

ps:  This pot usually sports a huge geranium plant from mid-spring until frost.  I’m not sure what to do about that now that Inca has claimed this as her throne.  I like her having a high place of her own.  It’s good for her self esteem.

Ok no offense Inca, but HOW did you get IN there? I’ve never seen an…um…’action’ shot of you, you are always very sedentary 🙂

That looks like quite a jump with precise movements needed to not fall out or tip it over. How DID you do it?

That flowerpot is just the right size for her! I agree with Garrett’s comment, wondering how she hopped up there w/o knocking it over? How very cat-like!

I guess I haven’t discussed Inca’s athletic ability lately. Actually, she’s a really fast little agility dog. She hasn’t been trialed because I am not a really fast little agility handler. Inca is also a turned-on (tuned-out) herding dog. She is wild for sheep. When our AKC instructor reappears in Albuquerque — she’s trying to sell her farm in Kentucky — all the Cardis will be working livestock and, hopefully earning some herding titles.

Inca chose the perch in the flower pot and gets there under her own power. It’s one gather and leap to situate her. She likes it because the baddog boys can’t push her around when she’s up there, she can see further, and she resembles the empress she believes she is.

Oh, look, a miniature Cardi or a large flowerpot. I like the picture with the sunlight on her face. Yes, she looks majestic.

Priceless, just priceless. You weren’t planning on planting anything in that pot were you?

What a funny girl! And a clever girl to figure out a way to get away from the boys!

  6. It’s Huffle Mawson and the parsley pot all over again!

She does look very self important perched up there on her throne, especially in the 2nd & 3rd photos

Having had the pleasure of seeing this awesome girl work sheep, I am not at all surprised that she can hop in that pot without tipping it over. An Empress deserves a throne – go for it Inca!
