How Many Cardis Does It Take . . .

For Division 7 (New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma) beginning May 12th:

Cardigan Welsh Corgis . . . 2/2 (1 pt)  5/6 (2 pt) 8/10 (3 pt)  10/12 (4 pt)  13/15 (5 pt)

Until May 12th:
Cardigan Welsh Corgis  . . . 2/2 (1 pt) 5/7 (2 pt) 8/11 (3 pt)  10/13 (4 pt)  15/18 (5 pt)

So, the point requirements for dogs have stayed the same — except for five points, but the requirement for bitches has really dropped significantly.  It’s been a tough year to find majors and this AKC revision reflects that.  Maybe some deserving dogs will find their majors this year.

    I swear that we had a tough year making bitch majors, but ours still went *up* from 9 to 10.

    Idaho beckons me to shows.

    I cannot believe ours went up… We hade ZERO majors in boys, other than Richland, and it stayed the same…

    Sometimes I swear it comes down to $$$… AKC knows we gotta enter more to find the majors…
