Penni–You’ve jumped in with both feet, & dealt with it. I’m at that point where I need to get cracking, as the date is July 9th. I’m still working (company insurance) so not sure how this will play out. Pat H. in Sioux City, IA
Is that like what we here in Tasmania call a Pensioner’s Health Care Card?
Hey now that you’ve posted it I’ll do a screen print, print it to a hard copy & get me some free health care. You’ve even blanked out your name so I can put mine in. Hey Thanks Penni. Although I don’t know if the hospitals & doctors surgeries will accept it here
No, I’m not retiring. Apparently my 401(k) got very wet and shrunk down to a 201(k) — so, for a while, I’ll keep practicing. My gift to myself in June will be that I take NO cases that I don’t want to handle. I’m remembering that 65 is just a number.
About Me
I am past sixty-five and still practicing law. I have two terrific sons, they have lovely wives, and I have one truly special granddaughter. At home are three Cardigan Welsh Corgis that amuse and challenge me. We participate in lots of dog-related activities. I love my camera, writing, and roaming. I live in central New Mexico because it's where I want to be. Thanks for visiting my blog. Your (tasteful) comments are welcome.
Does that mean that you can retire?
Well, at least you will see a little return on all the taxes you have paid over the years!
Trust me, your checkbook will love it! (They say.) 🙂
