Alden sent me this photo of Watson (Holmes’ lone sibling). It was taken last week while they were at Lake Tahoe. Denise Sponsler was the photog. It looks to me like Watson spent much time in the lake. He’s such a cute boy! By the way, someone asked Alden if Watson’s ears are real 🙂

I am past sixty-five and still practicing law. I have two terrific sons, they have lovely wives, and I have one truly special granddaughter. At home are three Cardigan Welsh Corgis that amuse and challenge me. We participate in lots of dog-related activities. I love my camera, writing, and roaming. The places I’ve been would amaze you. My mom just is really bad at taking pictures. Just ask her human kids, the only pictures she has of them are their sonagram pictures. We need to take Denise Sponsler with us wherever we go. Mom will have some more pictures on her blog tonight.

It was taken 3/25/10 at the show in Vallejo where Cappy earned his 14th point and Denali her second RE leg. Note that Watson makes an appearance as Center Dog in the Dogs on a Table series. L to R see: Denali, Cappy, Watson, Fig, Duncan. Also note: Duncan is Denali’s grandfather!
My question isn’t so much about Watson’s ears as those giant-sized clompers he’s got. I’ve never seen a corgi with such big feet!

That’s right, the picture of Dogs on a Table that was taken at the Vallejo dog show on March 25.
That’s the day that Cappy got his 14th point and I got my second RE leg. So, my question is this: Since Cappy and I were the ones who did all the work that day, how come YOU ended up right in the center of the shot as the feature dog? You sure know how to work it, don’t you? I can SO tell you’re related to Chase!
I saw that question about your ears too. I can vouch for the fact that they’re real! But, hey fella…what about those clompers you’ve got? Seriously, do you wear a size 13 shoe already? What’s up with that?
But its all OK, since you’re a really cool white-faced dog! My little brother, Sage, is a white-faced dog and he’s way cool! Maybe I’ll see you this Saturday! Cappy and I are back in Vallejo for another show!
