Shedding — Nooooooooo

Last Wednesday at noon entries closed for the Rio Grande/Coronado Kennel Club cluster. My entries were mailed the week before. By last Saturday morning, Chase had little tufts of hair scattered throughout his coat. How do they know? Chase naked is not as naked as some of the other dogs naked, but he looks better with a little undercoat. I’m going to bathe and groom him this weekend to try to get a coat rotation going, but — he’s going on his World Tour with only a light wrap. I hope it isn’t too chilly in Colorado for the next four weeks. So far, Leidy and Holmes are holding their hair.
