  1. . . . and From The Wonderful Dog Show World

    Chase is on his mini-world tour with Wendy Oelrich.  Today they are in Durango, Colorado.  Wendy just called to tell me Chase took a Group IV in a tough Herding Group.  The Breed Judge was Linda Scanlon and Joe Tacker judged the Group.  Wendy is really happy with the way he’s showing.  He’s really happy because she gave in and lets him sleep with her.  That Chase is a tricky boy!

    Over the long weekend he will be in Laramie and Casper, Wyoming for four shows.  Hopefully we’ll have more good news to share!

  2. Going To See the Grand-Puppies

    Yep!  It’s going to happen.  I’m going to hop on a Southwest Airlines flight on Friday, June 4th, go to Seattle, be rescued by Paula on her way home from work.  On Saturday, Paula, Eric and I will drive to Yakima so the dog show folks can look over the 8-pak.  We’ll take lots of photos and play with the baybeez.  We’ll spend the night in Yakima and on Sunday, on the way back to their home, Eric and Paula will drop me off at SeaTac to catch a flight back to Albuquerque.  This was a last minute decision.  My son had some Rapid Rewards tickets and offered me one.  He was able to get the flights I’d hoped for — so I get to see my grandpups and their mom, and Paula and Eric, and other show friends!  I am so excited!

    Hang on, little baybeez, G-ma is coming to visit (i.e., to spoil the heck out of you)!
