Today I noticed the Trumpet Vine was happily blooming. It invites Hummingbirds and bees into the yard which is a good thing. It also gave me a chance to use the new tiny camera. I like it — still need to finish reading all the rules.
We’ll have peaches in July — they’ll be better if I thin out the babies.
Then there’s Leidy who hates the camera — unlike a couple of really baddogs.

Again Chase made the cut, but didn’t place in the Group. Wendy said he was not as wound up in the ring today — more controlled, but still happy. So, it’s progress. Next weekend he’ll head to Longmont to see one of my all-time favorite judges — I hope he’s one of her all-time favorite dogs. There is one class dog entered and three male Specials. That’s the way it is in Colorado — no way to ever finish a Cardi up there. So, I’ll be in Seattle and Yakima, getting a puppy fix, and waiting for a telephone call to tell me how he’s done.

I am past sixty-five and still practicing law. I have two terrific sons, they have lovely wives, and I have one truly special granddaughter. At home are three Cardigan Welsh Corgis that amuse and challenge me. We participate in lots of dog-related activities. I love my camera, writing, and roaming.
