Cardi Party in Yakima

June 1, 2010

We will be spending Saturday night in Yakima at the Days Inn at 1504 N. 1st Street.

Not far from the motel is Franklin Park.  The actual address is 410 South 19th.  We will hold two puppy parties.  On Saturday at 4:30 in the corner of the park near the intersection of South 19th and West Chestnut, and then on Sunday morning at 11:00 at the same place.  Please alert anyone who might be interested in attending the party, taking photos, hanging out to look at cute babies . . .  Rumor has it there will be a second litter (a little older) to evaluate and photograph as well.

This is long distance planning in the dark, but the woman at the Motel says Franklin park is not far and is nice.  I hope that’s true 🙂  I’m awfully excited about seeing the Chase/Magic puppies in person, and seeing all you blogging friends as well.

Two litters? Oh, boy more puppies! That would be even better.

  2. Oh snap, I’m busy that weekend with Black Sheep Gathering, and an Oregon Cardigan club event! Darn 🙁

Emily: Black sheep isn’t until the 24th-27th. Yakima is this weekend.

      • Whoops! I really misread the post! I thought that the date was the 19th, and there’s the match in Canby that weekend. Glad to hear BSG doesn’t conflict with the match… finals week has me braindead!!!

Now I’m wondering how far Yakima is from us… I’ve never been there!

How many miles from Minneapolis to Yakima? I bet it will be quite a wonderful time. I mean what could be better than being surrounded by PUPPIES!

Yakima, WA? When? I would love to snuggle some Chase puppies. If I can get away.

Whew…it’s a 12-hour+ drive from San Francisco Bay Area…how I’d LOVE to see those puppies! Have a wonderful time…take LOTS of pictures!

BTW, I saw Watson this past weekend – what a love puppy he is! SO SWEET! At age 8 months, he is the same size as Sage is at 19 months of age! Watson is going to be a Big Boy! He was holding his own with Fig, Sage and Cappy and having a great time with everyone.
