Oh, Yeah. Fresh Peach Daiquiri — Yum!

July 7, 2010

A 6 oz. can of frozen limeade (NOT daiquiri mix)

That same 6 oz. can filled with rum

1 medium-sized peach (peeled and pitted is important)

A big handful of ice

Throw it all in the blender and blend until slushy.  Then sit on the back porch and appreciate the beauty of the day.

Now you’re talking! If I were to drink the whole thing myself, I think I would also be sleeping on the back porch 🙂 It sure sounds delicious, especially here in the east with our mega-heat/humidity wave going on…

Sounds decadent! What could I use to substitute the rum for a virgin version?

  4. Carolyn's Mom says:

substitute Tequila for the Rum and it’s called “Border Buttermilk” 😉

We used to make whiskey sours using these kinds of proportions — i.e., a whole juice can of booze. WOWSER!!!!!! I don’t do that anymore. I think it’s how my twins came to be. 🙂

Alrighty! Now where is that peach I was keeping for something like this?
