Time for the CWCCA Bulletin

July 3, 2010

I’ve been working on this Chase ad and can’t decide which I like better — the one with the ruck-sack or without.  Help me choose — I can’t pick.  Janet sent me the exquisite photo of the Appalachian Trail to use as the background.  Thank you, Janet.

  1. I think the top photo is much more complimentary of him.

I also like the first ad. I think it is the way Chase is holding his head. Hubby just popped in and looked over my shoulder–he prefers the second ad.

Top ad shows his cute profile 🙂 And I like the reference to the rucksack being packed.

Top – tail looks funny in the lower one, and the squinting isn’t good for him 🙂

  5. Mandy says:

can we steal the front from the lower pix tho? lol. Not crazy about the flag on the leg either.

  6. I agree with Mandy… is there any option for a retake of the photos?? I think him standing, and kind of “three quarters” like the Am Staff people do would be really nice for the photo. Stack his front, and get his expression in the shot.

On a nitpicky side- I’d separate his website from your infos, and e-mails… add a space. I think it’d look better than having them all bunched together, and would make his site stand out more.

Lone Ranger photos. If he wasn’t obedience trained there would be no dog in any of the photos with the kids playing ball and other dogs running around. We can try again early in the morning before the park is busy, but I pretty much get whatever — just hold down the shutter release and hope for a couple of good shots. I don’t want any part of him outside the “edges” of the tree trunk so standing is probably not an option especially with the exposed, lumpy roots.

      • Can you try to do front feet on that root visible in the top photo, and angle the photo so that the tree covers the whole background? That could look really nice! A way to show off his pretty front, and his pretty head is always a plus!
