The three bigger puppies continue to be bigger — Smooch, Victor and Udi are well over a pound. Reba is gaining regularly and is over 11 oz. She had a little further to go than did her siblings. They are eight days old today. It’s difficult to imagine that a week ago I was waiting for any one of them to make an appearance. They are vocal — with expressed opinions on everything from when Leidy moves within the whelping box to when I put them in the warming box so I can change their bedding. Leidy is eating well and seems to have plenty of milk for the fearsome foursome. They are learning that when I pick them up they can cuddle — it’s not nearly as good as mom (I think it’s my lack of fur), but it’s still comfortable.

I am so glad that they are doing well. Enjoy your time with the babies, they grow so darn fast. However, we need pictures Penni! Iknow its hard to put the puppy down to take the pictures, but those of us with puppy fever need a fix! Dont let Rebas size fool you, she is a red girl and WILL rule.
They are so cute, I’ve loved seeing all the pictures and checking the puppycam at night. My son is worried that they’re growing too fast though!
I was feeling down, so I popped over and lo and behold, the cutest, fattest, sweetest puppies cheered me right up!
I agree, puppies are the perfect anti-depressant. They look wonderful!
