Since I need time to address and write notes and get Christmas stamps, I thought I’d better start planning a Christmas Card-i. I own nothing that could look Christmas-y that holds four five-week old puppies. So, I paired the babies for the shots. What do you think? Oh — and there is one of Udi appearing alone because his cellmate was sniffing the bottom of the basket — figures. (As an aside, doesn’t Udi look like Taz?)

Heidi has been playing with an iPhone app. I don’t have an iPhone, but I have PhotoShop. I decided to see what PhotoShop might do to Victor’s little phat face. I used “cutout”. Cute, isn’t it.

Our very handsome, but not too knowledgeable, meteorologist said it would be bitterly cold today, but that we had little chance of precipitation. I heard him with my own two ears. However, when I went in to say good morning to the babies and Leidy, Leidy bounded up soaking wet. Hmmm — a sign! I could have stuck my head out the dog door, but it’s only 5:30 AM, and I have limits to the directions in which my curiosity might lead me. So I went into the family room and slid open the door. Oh, very pretty! Those of you struggling through drifts whose holiday plans were thwarted by Mother Nature please forgive me. Snow and rain are very rare here so I must rejoice and enjoy.

I am past sixty-five and still practicing law. I have two terrific sons, they have lovely wives, and I have one truly special granddaughter. At home are three Cardigan Welsh Corgis that amuse and challenge me. We participate in lots of dog-related activities. I love my camera, writing, and roaming.
