  1. Another Day of Herding (and fun)

    November 28, 2010 by myeye

In keeping with this holiday, Chase herded ducks all weekend long.  He’s learning to drive — quite a change from the fetching he’s been required to do for his test competition.

Here he is playing tag with his housemate Treasure. She’s also learning to herd, but they needed a break.

    Dogs just wanna have fun!

  2. Weather Outside is Frightful, But Puppies Are So Delightful

Forgive the shavings they have scattered everywhere and just enjoy the cute faces.

  3. Don’t You Hate to Redo?

    November 28, 2010 by myeye

As some of you know, this house lacked tender, loving care for several years before I bought it.  So, I’ve been “fixing up” since before I moved in.  The vertical blinds in both the living room and the family room were disgusting — sort of greasy to the touch.  Yech!  So I hied to my Los Lunas Lowes and bought a new header and louvers for the living room, and new louvers for the family room.  I bought white because I am a light person and the dark beige that was in both rooms was depressing.  I climbed up on a ladder and hung the family room louvers.  Mike put up the header in the living room, and I climbed up on my ladder and installed the louvers in the living room.  The family room, however, has a problem.

They must have contained essential nutrients

    Were there sharks in here?

Holmes says they were swaying and he had to stop them

I have exactly enough louvers left to replace those he attacked.  If I move the crates close enough to the window, he can’t reach behind to get the louvers, and they are too big for him to chew through the crate.  Hey, Holmes, you just lie there — I’m going to get my ladder.
