As some of you know, this house lacked tender, loving care for several years before I bought it. So, I’ve been “fixing up” since before I moved in. The vertical blinds in both the living room and the family room were disgusting — sort of greasy to the touch. Yech! So I hied to my Los Lunas Lowes and bought a new header and louvers for the living room, and new louvers for the family room. I bought white because I am a light person and the dark beige that was in both rooms was depressing. I climbed up on a ladder and hung the family room louvers. Mike put up the header in the living room, and I climbed up on my ladder and installed the louvers in the living room. The family room, however, has a problem.

They must have contained essential nutrients
Holmes says they were swaying and he had to stop them
I have exactly enough louvers left to replace those he attacked. If I move the crates close enough to the window, he can’t reach behind to get the louvers, and they are too big for him to chew through the crate. Hey, Holmes, you just lie there — I’m going to get my ladder.
Oh, no! HOLMES! Maybe you should order a few extra . . . 🙁
That little stinker…good thing he’s cute! :>)
Oh, no! The look on his face, full of guilt. My Pippin used to ask to go outside by weaving in and out of the verticle blinds. Used to drive me nuts, as she was out, in, out, in… But, she never chewed them.
Since they aren’t my blinds that got chewed up, this is a funny post! The way you started out, I thought they just weren’t hanging correctly or such. It never would have occurred to me that vertical blinds would be at risk. I bet they had a perfect chewing texture that Holmes found very satisfying.
I am surprised he is this naughty now that he has his very own yard to burn off energy in…..
Those blinds look awfully tasty. And he looks awfully guilty.
Naughty, Holmes!
(Rip says he’s an inspiration…)
I just posted a comment but it didn’t appear, it had a link in it so maybe it went to your spam filter
