9 Week Old Babies — and another sunrise

December 22, 2010

The puppies are 9 weeks old today.  What an enchanting 9 weeks it has been as they grew into tiny dogs, learned to bark, to wrestle, to play with the big dogs, to cuddle with humans.  Now, as I watch them bolt out the dog door to explore the great outdoors, I can only smile.  In two and a half weeks, Smooch, Udi (“Newsy”), and Victor will be off on a new adventure with their very own people, while Nola and I will begin developing our own bond.

Now, about that sunrise:

7:30 PST and the sun’s not up here yet. From the rain on the patio it’s my guess that we won’t see it today. Ah well, I shall go to work and turn on my sun box. Artificial sun is better than none.

You have the most gorgeous sunrises! I am usually heading to the office when the sun is coming up and love watching the different colors as I’m driving across the river.

I can’t believe they’re leaving in two weeks! *sob* I hope their hoomans will send lots of pictures to keep the puppy junkies updated. I’m sad to see them go, but excited for their new adventures!

  4. My Mommy said she remembers when I was so small and innocent and whined alot. ^_^ Now I’m big, still innocent and I still whine!
