Lowri’s Special Friend

February 21, 2011

Susan’s sheep operation is more than a hobby.  She raises market lambs, and the dogs must be working dogs to help with the sheep.  Because the coyotes snagged some of the lambs this past winter, Susan brought home a Great Pyrenees puppy named Thor.  He is all about his sheep — except for this morning.  Lowri spotted him and decided he would be fun as a play-mate.  Susan grabbed her camera.

Oh, look!  It’s another puppy!

Hang on.  I can fit under there.

Okay.  Now we can really play!

It’s good to have a friend your own age… if not your own size! Too cute!

Dash dog is in lovvvvveeee with the Pyrs that come to handling class. He wraps his front legs around their necks and hugs them.

Always a plus to have a big guy on your side Lowri!
