  1. Herding – Age Doesn’t Matter

    March 20, 2011 by myeye

Chase, Kearney, Treasure and Lowri — YES, LOWRI — went herding today.  Cheryl sent me these photos of Chase, whose first Started trial is next weekend, and of his three month old daughter.  Lowri is a Border Collie WannaBe.  How much fun is she going to be as she grows up?  (Three cheers for Cheryl’s photos — I always feel as if I’m there.)  Lowri first:

Click to make this bigger — the look on her face is priceless

Later, Thor, can’t stop.  I’m a working Cardi!

. . . And Chase — businesslike and calm (HURRAY!)

“This can be pleasant if you all stay in line.”

Stand still while TM and MC gab **

**  TM (The Mama) is Lowri’s name for Susan, and MC is Mama Cheryl — I suppose I’d be the MP?

  2. Wheeeere’s Udi?

    March 20, 2011 by myeye

Udi is in Benton City Washington.  Sondra has promised photos — I’m waiting . . .

This is what she says about our fat-faced red boy (Nola’s littermate): “Udi’s ears are up. We ended up taping twice, and the one that still flopped after 2 rounds looks the best! The other was up after 1 try but it got a bit too vertical and I’m hoping it will gradually get back to where it should be. Don’t know whether his ears or his feet are bigger :-)!”

He did have serious clompers even as a little puppy — apparently they have continued to grow.  If he needed shoes, he would be forced to visit the shoemaker-to-the-NBA Stars.
