Round about June 20th to 24th, the pretty Champion Coedwig’s Dejavu will be delivering puppies sired by Chase. “Ditto” is owned by Lisa Anderson who is a veterinarian in Allen Texas. This is Ditto and Lisa’s first litter so Lisa was delighted to get results from an ultrasound today. The diagnostic vet says between five and seven “Ditchas” will make their appearance. He said the puppies looked like 30-day babies, so it was the first breeding that impregnated Ditto and that’s where we are getting the June 20th date. Here is the pedigree for the litter.
I think Lisa would appreciate some good thoughts — if you are in the Dallas area and interested in attending a puppy party in mid to late August, let us know. If you may be interested in owning a Chase/Ditto child, I’m sure Lisa would put you on her list. Ditto is OFA certified for hips and elbows, a sweet tempered tri w/tan points girl. “Ditchas” – love it! Congratulations Grandma Penni – I can personally vouch for how dang cute all of the Scoutchas turned out. So with Chase being a brindle and Ditto being a tri, what kind of coats would the puppies have? (I’m no geneticist and I didn’t stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night either.)
Whoo-hoo! More Chaselets on the way! Possible colors are: Brindle, red, tanpointed tri or brindle pointed tri (IF Chase carries the black/tri gene, which is unknown at this point) If Chase does not carry the black/tri factor the only possible colors are brindles and reds. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, however
Cheryl is correct. And all the puppies will be black-factored, regardless of coat color. They will each and everyone be capable of producing black (tri) puppies. Can’t wait to see how they all turn out. Go Ditto!
