Speaking of Chase’s Kids

I’m sure some of these photos will show up on Lowri and Kearney’s blog, but I couldn’t resist posting them here. Lowri herded ducks today — and a fine job she did. Cheryl had her camera at the ready. I did a double take at the last photo because it looked so much like Chase standing there.

Hurray for Nikki!

Champion Wellshire Absolut Magic — as of this morning. Nikki, who was winners bitch at Nationals in Houston, today in Dixon CA was Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Breed over Specials (4-point major to finish). Nikki is Chase’s second Champion child. She is out of his second litter (mom is Wellshire Lady Luck). Fingers crossed for her in Group in a few hours! Nikki was shown in the 12-18 month class by Angelia Hall.
Two of Nikki’s siblings have major points — I expect to be reporting more good news about them before long. Ms. Sally and her siblings from the Scout litter are right behind them.

About those Ditto/Chase Puppies

The nine babies in Dallas turned six weeks old yesterday — they grow up so fast! Yesterday Lisa got DNA results for Ditto — she is DM clear. Since Chase has also been tested clear, this is another all clear litter. I’m going to fly to Dallas the morning of August 20th for the puppy party. I can’t wait to snuggle my newest grandpups. I’ll take the good camera and see if we can’t get some nice stacked photos, fronts and rears.
