Nola’s Herding Lesson

September 11, 2011

Nola worked in four increments with breaks in between.  This video is of one of her first forays.  We had to get rid of the mama goat that was outside the pen because she ran with the youngsters, pulling them into the fence and making a lift off the fence all but impossible.  Lisa Anderson took this video for which I am grateful.  My camera was at home on the table.  You can see the little red girl is really into moving the goats.  By the final increment, she had balanced the goats to Ellen in the center of the pen.  Good little red girl!  My hope is that she will earn a title at the Ohio Cardi Nationals.  (Nola is a Chase/Leidy daughter.)
