Chase had an excellent herding weekend, serving as the set out dog as well as working the Intermediate course. He’s doing cross-drives too. His first Intermediate Sheep trial will be next weekend. We think he’s ready — just need the stock to cooperate.
Chase’s daughter Nikki was Best of Opposite Sex yesterday at the Richland Kennel Club show in Washington. The Smooch was second in her class. Holmes did nothing at Grand Junction except make the crowd smile when he tried to get on the table by himself. Funny Holmes!
