What a fabulous way for Lowri to end her time in the regular classes. She won the Puppy Herding Group. David Anthony was the Judge. He made some noises about taking her home, but Susan firmly declined. The Foxhound puppy won the Best Puppy in Show award, but we know in our hearts that we had the Best Puppy there — hands down.
Lowri is moved up to Best of Breed for tomorrow and Sunday’s shows. Let’s see if the girl can start work on her Grand Championship!

Lowri was shown (still 9-12 puppy) at the Knoxville Kennel Club this morning. She was WB and BOS (over two bitch Specials) to finish her Championship. The Judge was David Anthony. We are so proud of Cheryl Kienast and our little Chase/Scout daughter. She was also Best Puppy so will go to Puppy Group today — David Anthony is judging Puppy Group. Congratulations to co-owners Cheryl Kienast and Susan Shields as well as to the other dog Gramma, Janet Suber. Lowri is the first of “The Ocho” to finish, with Sally and Tommy and Ginger hot on her heels. What a fun litter this has been, and what a ride little Lowri has given us!

I am past sixty-five and still practicing law. I have two terrific sons, they have lovely wives, and I have one truly special granddaughter. At home are three Cardigan Welsh Corgis that amuse and challenge me. We participate in lots of dog-related activities. I love my camera, writing, and roaming.
