A few weeks ago the New Mexico State Bar invited me to a reception because I had practiced for 25 years (if I practice for another 25, I might get it right). I didn’t make the reception. In today’s mail, I received this.

Great Weekend At The Dog Shows

While I was tromping up hill and down dale at our local TDX test, the dogs were off being spectacular. Nikki (Chase/Magic) was (and still is for today) at the Phoenix shows. Yesterday she was Best of Breed. Congratulations to her Breeders Paula and Eric Weller and to her Co-owner Carolyn Tompkins. Meanwhile, little Lowri (Chase/Scout) was in Atlanta. On Thursday, Lowri’s litter sister Sally finished her Championship. Congratulations to Owner/Breeder Janet Suber. On Saturday, Lowri’s mother Scout was Best of Opposite Sex to Telltail’s Like A Rolling Stone (Mick) and Lowri received a select — good for a three-point Grand Champion Major. Yesterday, our Lowri was Best of Breed, Mick was Best of Opposite Sex and Scout was Select. Lowri earned five Grand Champion Points for that win. There were three other specials shown. Lowri was pulled out in a very tough herding group. Susan was in charge of Cheryl’s camera while Cheryl and Lowri were in the ring. Here are a couple of nice captures.
