The SW Cardigan Welsh Corgi Fanciers will be hosting the CWCCA National Specialty in Tucson from March 30th to April 6th, 2013. Our logo has been approved by the Parent Club. We will have an official website which will be activated after the Ohio National Specialty. I have created a small version of the logo for use on website and blog sidebars. After the Ohio National (around May 1st) this little logo could be linked to the official website. If you’d like to show your support for the 2013 National Specialty, I’ll be happy to send you the little .jpg image for your blog or website. Let me know and either use “contact me” or leave your eddress if you aren’t on my regular e-correspondence list.

Dog G’Ma At It Again
March 29, 2012 by myeye
I am crazy about my Grandpuppies — love every one of them. Besides the lovely newborns at Kathy and Kevin McCombs’ home, there is an adorable cutey named Stout at Merinda Tiffany’s. She is doing all sorts of puppy shaping which she videos. If you want to grin at a darling little boy Cardi puppy showing off, visit Merinda’s blog. It is http://PorterandStout.blogspot.com (so you can add it to your blogroll). Stout and big brother Porter are affectionately known as the Brew Brothers.
The Keina/Chase litter (McCombs) is a week old today. The six girls and two boys are gaining well. They are strong, active and very vocal. In another week their eyes should open and they’ll look like real puppies.
Oh, how I love the puppies!

It’s A Leg! Now Chase has two.
March 25, 2012 by myeye
Yesterday was not a qualifying leg for Chase. If you want to suffer along with Susan, you may watch the run here. However, today Chase did enough advanced things correctly that he earned his second Advanced Sheep Leg. Whoo Hoo! I am happy! Thank you Cheryl for letting me go along for the run — without your photos and videos, I would never know. Kearney also qualified (both yesterday and today) and needs only one more point for his Dual Championship. Little Treasure earned her first Started Sheep leg. We’re hoping lots of good things happen at our National Specialty.
At the other end of the country in California, Chase/Magic daughter Nikki (GCH Wellshire Absolut Magic) was doing us all proud with a BOB over several specials AND a GROUP III. She proved she was a mudder as the show site was under water. Go, Nikki!

Chase Has A 2nd Leg and The Bulletin . . .
March 25, 2012 by myeye
Chase is in Cumming Georgia for a herding trial this weekend. We got no love yesterday, but today he and Susan earned his Second Advanced Sheep leg. Hopefully he will finish his HXAs at the National Specialty Herding Trials. I am so proud of them both. Kearney earned another point toward his Dual Championship — he’s sitting on 14, and Treasure earned her first Started Sheep leg. A good morning in Georgia.
Meanwhile in California, Nikki (Chase/Magic) was Best of Breed over other Specials. She was Best of Opposite Sex the first two days of these shows.
The Bulletin . . . I am at the office putting in all the corrections found by the proofreaders. There really are not all that many — just need to transfer them from their notes to the master. By 2:00, this issue will be on a flash drive and I will have printed out a high resolution copy for the printer. As always, I will be so very happy to have it GONE.
Enjoy your Sunday.

Puppy Day 2
March 23, 2012 by myeye
Kathleen reports that the eight Keina/Chase puppies had a good first day. Their mom is attentive and keeping them well fed. Kathy went in to work today — we’re still hoping for photos soon. It’s so exciting to watch puppies grow!
