Yesterday was not a qualifying leg for Chase. If you want to suffer along with Susan, you may watch the run here. However, today Chase did enough advanced things correctly that he earned his second Advanced Sheep Leg. Whoo Hoo! I am happy! Thank you Cheryl for letting me go along for the run — without your photos and videos, I would never know. Kearney also qualified (both yesterday and today) and needs only one more point for his Dual Championship. Little Treasure earned her first Started Sheep leg. We’re hoping lots of good things happen at our National Specialty.
At the other end of the country in California, Chase/Magic daughter Nikki (GCH Wellshire Absolut Magic) was doing us all proud with a BOB over several specials AND a GROUP III. She proved she was a mudder as the show site was under water. Go, Nikki!
So proud of all the dogs! Chase recovered on Sunday for a nice run for his second Advanced leg, Kearney gathered 3 more points toward his DC, Treasure proved she CAN work sheepies, and nicely, too! And Nikki swam her way to a Group 2!!! Goooood dogs!
This is actually Sunday’s run. He qualified on this run. I was pleased with him!
YAY! Congrats on both ends of the country! I love watching dogs herd. It never fails to amaze me their instinct and drive.
