Joiner couldn’t stay in this world. He had suffered some brain damage during the extended effort to bring him to life after the C-section. This morning I said good bye to the little man. I am so sad that he didn’t have the chance to grow up, to have his very own family, to bring smiles. Seven beautiful puppies are wonderful, but I will always think of what Mr. 8 would have added to my life. Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes.

Oh, I am so sorry. His story had captured our hearts. You are in our thoughts.
So very sorry. He (and you) put up a heroic fight. Poor little guy.
He made a strong impression during his short visit on earth. I was really rooting for him. I feel your loss, you did everything possible to give him a chance to grow up. I’m so sad for you. Thank heavens the others are so robust, they will be lovely.
I’ve been waiting for this post. Very sad. He fought hard.
They break our hearts sometimes. His brothers and sisters will help to mend yours.
So very sorry to hear about Joiner. All the hope and love sometimes isn’t enough to overcome the inevitable. But at least Dory and the pups are growing nicely.
We are so sorry to hear that Joiner didn’t make it. We were pulling for him from the start. His brothers and sisters will make him proud. Thanks for all your efforts.
I am so sorry – it is so hard to lose our babies – no matter how old they are…

I am very sad, for you and for Joiner.
Oh, poor little guy. How sad. Even tho’ you only had him a short time, it’s still hard. Godspeed, little Joiner. You were loved.

It takes so much courage and optimism to breed in a conscientious way………..
