Sheri called the little guy and he came running. Too cute!

On Saturday Faust left with Sheri Morrow. They drove to Trinidad on Saturday evening and then on to Englewood Sunday morning. Yesterday Faust, who will henceforth be called Andy (Elyan Bella Andrews Honor Roll), went on his first hike. His part of the hike didn’t last very long. Lucky for him that Gerry is a genuine good sport. He and Sheri hauled the little guy up hill and down dale. Andy thinks there is nothing to this hiking stuff. Initial reports are that Andy fit right in with Sheri’s two Cardi girls, and happily greeted all the folks he met on the mountain. I’m so happy he’s close enough that I will see him at least a few times a year.

This morning Intrigue, Copper, Dally, Chase and I saw Augie and Margaret off at the airport. Then we drove to Kevin and Tricia Dooley’s home to romp in the grass and play with Dad. It was great fun. Here is a sample of what Kevin saw through his camera lens. Next Sunday, Intrigue, Dally and I will take Copper to her new home with Kevin and Tricia.

Boy puppy Gandolph (who will be “Augie” in South Dakota) had a frap with his dad this morning. Since all the puppies are competent with the dog door now, I have to coax them to come inside. They love playing in the outdoor covered pen. Daddy Chase has full access to them so they spend the day with him coming in and going out. As a result, the inside fly population has become unpleasant. Augie will leave with his new mom Margaret tomorrow. Augie is a perfect candidate for the herding and tracking that Margaret has planned for him.

Tomorrow morning I have hearings in Federal Court so thought I would post the third puppy with her Dad this evening. Dally (who will be called “Mooney” when she moves to the land of tofu and Perrier) is a fearless little sprite. Watch her duck under the center supports of the dining room table so she can get behind Chase — she wants to be the chaser. At 8-1/2 weeks, I think she might be his match!
