  1. A Little Fun

    June 29, 2013 by myeye

There wasn’t room for a color ad for us in the Summer Bulletin so I decided I would have some fun with a black and white ad for Chase.  His fun meter shows a precise tie between herding and agility.  We’ll run his color High in Trial herding ad in the Fall Performance Issue and this little black and white number in the upcoming issue.  Go, Chaseman!

  2. Copper Meets The Ducks – Instinct Testing

    June 23, 2013 by myeye

Copper (Hillary) is my keeper from the Chase/Dory litter.  I co-own her with Kevin Dooley.  She is a little red sprite and we are having a wonderful time with her.  She loves to learn and has the sunniest disposition!  Today we went herding and Kevin brought Copper along.  She watched and I swear was taking notes, when she got her chance in the arena, she announced that she wanted to be a herding dog.  Whoo hoo!  Kevin is ready to learn.

Kathy Metcalf and her pretty Scout/Chase daughter, Ginger, made Ginger’s Agility debut this morning.  Here is the video — go, girls!

  4. Dally/Mooney Before California

    June 22, 2013 by myeye

Mooney flew to California on June 7th.  Before I took her to the airport to meet Captain Frank, I caught this photo of her cute self.  She is a natural retriever.  Frank and Jody tell me she puts her toys away.  If I had known THAT, I would have kept her.  I have been trying for years to teach the baddogs to put away toys — alas, to no avail.  Mooney, however, plays with a toy for a while, takes it back to her toy box, puts it away and chooses another.  She is one smart cookie — and as cute as she can be.  With no puppies here, I am forced to go back through photos to get my fix.

  5. More Augie and Ducks

    June 20, 2013 by myeye

Augie is so enthusiastic — shaping is required — but he loves the ducks.  Again, be assured no ducks were injured in the making of this video.  Go Augie and Margaret!
