The Heathens are twelve weeks old this morning. They have the best time with one another and with Grampa Chase. This morning I sat in a patio chair and took photos of their antics. Enjoy!

Morning on the high desert
August 29, 2013 by myeye
There is so much to accomplish before I leave for the day that I am out of bed by 5:30. This time of year, I get the baybeez fed before the sun makes an appearance. When it does show up, it brings something worth photographing. Here are the western clouds from about 6:45 AM.
The high desert skies are always breathtaking.

Morning Dip
August 28, 2013 by myeye
After I feed the puppies, and there’s enough light to see, Chase takes the puppies outside and they run off energy. This morning the wading pool seemed of huge importance.

We Will Die If You Don’t Feed Us Now
August 27, 2013 by myeye
Puppies have a good sense of when it is time for a meal. Generally that is all the time. If you don’t serve up the meal within their time frame, they will surely die of starvation. Poor little Heathens — dinner was late tonight.
Lily-pad — I want my dinner! I’m getting weak.
Story: Is it coming yet? I’m going to tell MC!
If I give you the look, will you bring food?

Saturday Scrambles
August 26, 2013 by myeye
The baybeez turned 11 weeks old on Friday. They are wild and wooly. They are lucky to have a Grampa who thinks that’s great fun. I bought them a wading pool so they jumped in and got wet, then rolled one another in the dirt. Very dirty babies.
Just a taste of the everyday. I love puppies!
